Boarding

Here at Blue Orchard Stables, the welfare of you and your horse is our first priority. We want to make sure all of our four-legged friends here are well cared for and happy. At B.O.S, you get quality care in a relaxed, friendly environment. We have 8 extra large stalls (2 of them with a fenced in run out area) in the main barn and 2 detached standard stalls in an adjacent building. If you are interested in boarding your horse with a stall, please contact us to see what stalls are available. We offer trailering to pick up your horse with extra cost (price increases with distance). 

Full Board 

$650-$750

  • Matted stall with window, 2 water buckets,1 feed bucket, and a fan for the summer 

  • Extra large stall ($750), Extra large stall with a fenced run out ($800) or standard stall ($650) (depends on availability)

  • Fresh hay and water given daily

  • Stall cleaned daily and replenished with fresh thin wood shavings

  •  Water buckets cleaned daily 

  • Use of tack room, 1 trunk permitted next to stall 

  • AM/PM feedings (supplements/meds given as needed) <Feeding plate provided>

  • Water (trough) in field scrubbed and re-filled regularly (heater in trough in the winter)

  • Blanketing if needed (fly sheets/masks, winter blankets)

  • Daily or Nightly turnout (weather permitting)

  • All shots and worming as well as appointments for any veterinary problems attended by staff member and handled for vet if needed. Emergency care calls made and attended to. (Vet supplies not included)

  • Blacksmith services scheduled and horse attended for blacksmith by staff member  

Field Board Full Care

$550

  • AM/PM feedings (supplements/meds given as needed) <Feeding plate provided>

  • Water (trough) in field scrubbed and re-filled regularly (heater in trough in the winter)

  • Hay supplied  (extra $ if applicable)

  • Use of tack room

  • Blanketing if needed (fly sheets/masks, winter blankets)

  • Fields dragged/run-in's picked as needed 

  • All shots and worming as well as appointments for any veterinary problems attended by staff member and handled to vet if needed. Emergency care calls made and attended to. (Vet supplies not included)

  • Blacksmith services scheduled and horse attended to blacksmith by staff member
